Bible Passages For Life's Journey

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Revelation 7:16-17
Never again will they hunger;  never again will they thirst.  The sun will not beat upon them nor any scorching heat.  For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd:  He will lead them to springs of living water.   And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.

Numbers 6:24
May the Lord bless you and keep you;  The Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious unto you;  The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.

Psalm 128:5-6
May the Lord bless you from Zion all the days of your life;  may you see the properity of Jerusalem, and may you live to see your children's children.  Peace be upon Israel.

Philippians 2:1-5
If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in Spirit and purpose.  Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.  Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.  Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.

Philippians 3:20-21
But our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body.

Philippians 4:4-7
Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again:  Rejoice!  Let your gentleness be evident to all.  The Lord is near.  Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Psalm 107:21-31

Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.  Let them sacrifice thank offerings and tell of his works with songs of joy.  Others went out on the sea in ships; they were merchants on the mighty waters.  They saw the works of the Lord, his wonderful deeds in the deep.  For he spoke and stirred up a tempest that lifted high the waves.  They mounted up to the heavens and went down to the depths; in their peril their courage melted away.  They reeled and staggered like drunken men;  they were at their wits' end.  Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress.  he stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed.  They were glad when it grew calm and he guided them to their desired haven.  Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.

So let the sunshine in!  Face it with a grin, open up your heart and let the sunshine in!

Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.               Matthew 5:16
